I am a silversmith and artist, whose work takes me into a number of different fields, exploring ideas where they lead me.
In June this year I completed an alter cross in silver and a silver plated copper processional cross, each of them 600mm tall. Pictures of these in the making can be seen under 'process' on the 'Silver' page. I have now been asked to make a 24" diameter bowl in burr oak and silver.
I have had drawings accepted and am now preparing estimates for a reredos in cast and fabricated aluminium in a London church and I am waiting to hear back on an estimate for cast iron railings at a development in London and whether the project is to go ahead.
Over the summer I have some cast iron railings exhibited at the International Conference on Cast Iron at Kidwelly castle in Wales and in between I am completing the assembly of some sculpture and beginning to make work for Goldsmiths Fair in last week of September.
